A Hydraulic Survey records the features of bodies of water including contours, channels, and watershed information for lakes, rivers, and streams. The engineers at Civil Design Inc. often use this information to model water flow when designing bridges and other structures that are dependent on the flow and elevation of water. The information can also be used, however, to determine high water elevations at lakes and other bodies of water that do not flow.
The land surveyors that conduct the Hydraulic Surveys for CDI are both well trained and experienced. Their acumen and familiarity with Hydraulic Surveys are essential for providing the accurate information that CDI's professional engineers require when choosing sites for bridges, docks, underground pipelines, and more.
Civil Design Inc's survey professionals provide Hydraulic Surveys to both the public and private sector. These highly-detailed surveys can also provide a wealth of information to individuals or agencies studying:
Water level fluctuations
